Buffalo Stance by Neneh Cherry was just on the radio - I haven't heard that song for years. It's still cool :)

Everyone in our Maidstone office has gone home, apparently it's like the north pole there - the schools have all closed lorries are breaking down and blocking the road, it's bedlam.

I love it, 3 inches of snow and the country grinds to a halt.

it's all over the news about how train stations may decide to run empty trains all night to keep the lines from freezing and how everyone shouldn't forget to "wear hats and gloves" when they go out

Totally! They're like Mothers or something! In the summertime it was all about drinking not just water but sports drinks because they have more protein to keep you energized and hydrated in the humidity!
