Buffalo Stance by Neneh Cherry was just on the radio - I haven't heard that song for years. It's still cool :)

Everyone in our Maidstone office has gone home, apparently it's like the north pole there - the schools have all closed lorries are breaking down and blocking the road, it's bedlam.

I love it, 3 inches of snow and the country grinds to a halt.

HA! That happens here as well, they get even the word that they might have snow and it's all over the news about how train stations may decide to run empty trains all night to keep the lines from freezing and how everyone shouldn't forget to "wear hats and gloves" when they go out (Japanese news is filled with wonderful little tips like that).

It makes me laugh because in Canada, you need to have at least a foot to to cause problems! Ha ha! But it's great for the kiddies! I always loved snow days! They were the highlight of my year!!

I miss the snow! It's supposed to snow tomorrow but every time they say that it never does and it never stays. :(

Totally! They're like Mothers or something! In the summertime it was all about drinking not just water but sports drinks because they have more protein to keep you energized and hydrated in the humidity!
