Well, bugger!
Feb. 1st, 2004 12:18 pmI haven't posted for a while, partly becuase I have nothing much to say which is pretty pathetic really.
I must have something to say, I did promise that I would stop making wishy wahsy lj posts. Okay, please see below for a nice bullet pointed list of my non-wishy washy thoughts of the moment
*The Hutton inquiry is bollocks, I don't believe for one moment that Tony Blair didn't have something to do with the large amount of bullshit that was flying around about Dr David Kelly. I actually heard Alistiar Campbell on a radio talk show complaining about the lack of morals that the media has. That man worked as a spin doctor for the Labour goverment and he lectures other people about ethics?!? Is it me, or has the world gone mad?
*I wathced/listened to the cast commentary on TTT yesterday and was staggered by the amount of pretentious fuck-wittage that Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis and Sean Astin managed to come out with. Mr Astin was the worst culprit, I was so irritated by it I started fast fowrarding through some of his bits. "No no, I want to tell this story" Gah.
*I bought an eye patch yesterday because I read in a book that wearing an eye patch over your good eye really helps strenghen the weaker one. And since the site in my left eye couldn't get much worse I decided to give it a go.
It was very stange, being able to see, but not properly, it was freaky and will taking some getting used to. But better eyesite can only be a good thing so I will persevere.
*My cousin Callum came out with a brilliant phrase the other day - "Done and do-dangled". Fantastic. A modern spin on done and dusted that I'll have to start using as often as possible.
*And finally I wandered round the FAQ section of Live Journal yesterday and think I've leared how to do LJ cuts, amongst other things...( Read more... )
