There are rules about Bank Holidays, the first one is that ITV have to show a Bond film and the second one is that it should rain. And View to a Kill is on later, and it’s started to rain! It didn’t rain last Bank Holiday, the weather was beautiful and it disturbed me. But things are as they should be now; I like it when things work out as they should, it makes me feel safe :)
~~~~~~~When I heard that David Thewlis was going to play Professor Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban I was a bit concerned. I’m sure he’s a good actor and everything but I wasn’t convinced he is good looking enough to be Lupin. Okay, so Professor Lupin isn’t all scruffy-Aragorny-grrr like Sirus Black, but he’s definitely handsome, is more of a slim-tortured soul-Johnny Depp cheekboney way. And from some of the pictures I’ve seen Professor Lupin looked like Dr Watson, Sherlock Holmes side kick. But I stumbled across this earlier today
Loony Loony Lupin Aha! Definitely looking all cheek boney and tortured there! Fantastic, that’s what we like. I can’t wait for the POA to come out, it looks like it will be more Tim Burtonesque and less Jolly Hockey Sticks 50’s upper class Enid Blighton-y. I've been neglecting my Harry Potter obsession recently, pesky hobbites distracting me.
~~~~~~~I’ve just got back from the Co-op, I had to make an emergency dash for milk and chocolate. You see all kinds of weird and wonderful people in my local Co-op. Today’s unusual soul was the old lady behind me in the queue who kept jabbing me in the ankle with her shopping trolley then started muttering to herself in a way that made we want to make sure I was out of the shop when she decided to snap. If there’s a loon anywhere within a 10 mile radius they always seem to come and stand near me.
