Ahem ahem ahem

I'm feeling far to lazy to do a proper post so I decided that I'm going to do just the headlines of today. You know, like when you only watch the beginning of the news because you don't want to see the in depth parts of the stories, just the important main bits like "Freddie Starr ate my hamster" or "Bush says something stupid" and such like.

So just imagine that I'm shuffling papers *shuffle shuffle* and I'm sat a desk with a stern look on my face (not like Trevor McDonald because he's old, more like one of the sexier news readers Channel 4 has) and between each headline is the BONG sound Big Ben makes when it chimes the hour.

*Noisy neighbour silenced - Mr Next Door Man made not a peep last night. He must have been picking up on the everyone-hates-you vibes and decided to do the decent thing and shut up


*Eleanor has a productive day at work - I actually got a quite a lot of useful things done at work. I even managed to sort out the invoice queries I've been putting off.


*Fan girls are everywhere - My aunt got me Writing a Romantic Novel for Dummies for my birthday, and I was reading the About the Author section and it says -
"She's also been a fangrrrrrl her entire life, and that shows no signs of stopping. Davy Jones was the first great love of her life (and she still insists they would have been perfect for each other, if only he would have waited for her to get from twelve to twenty-two). Current obsesssions include everything related to "The Lord of the Rings (especially Viggo Mortensen, with a note to include that she's been a fan since "Ruby Cairo) "Farscape"...and James "Spike" Masters, formerly of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel."
I trust everything this woman has to say without question.


*I managed to show some self control today and did not check Live Journal while I was at work. And I did by a bar of chocolate (a twirl) but I only ate one of the fingers, so I can have the other tomorrow.


All in all it hasn't been a bad one really :)
