Is it really Monday again already?

So, Bert and Ethels shindig wasn't too bad really, it was just how you'd expect a family 'do' to be. There were grandkids dancing on the dance floor, including a littel girl who had a whole choreographed sequence worked out in her head, and a crap disco with really lame flashing lights. And all the adults were stood around drinking.

It was weird. I was in a room full of people I was related to with no idea who most of them were..

Bert and Ethel got up and danced, they shuffled round to The Last Waltz. It was kind of sweet and kind of sad, they're both in their 80's so a shuffle here and shuffle there was as much as they could managed. Matt and Georgie had just got married the day before apparently(I'm related to Matt, somehow) and the DJ did suggest that they got up and danced together but Matt said he couldn't because he was smoking a fag.
And they say romance is dead.


Reason number 846 that Glenis the receptionist at work the bluntest, most anal woman in the world who at some point has really lost here joy de vive. - Laura brought in the pictures from her 12 week scan the other day, and I was all "Oooh baby pictures!!", she said "Well I'm glad someone's excited"
Glenis had apparently gone ,(imagine a nasaly, disapproving voice)"No, no I don't want to look at them. It's nice for you though I suppose."
Charming.

I thought it was exciting that at just 12 weeks you could discern something that looked like a baby, it did kind of look like a cloud formation too, but it's only 6.5cm long, so what do you expect!
