Hetty arrived in all her glory yesterday.
Absolutely fabulous. It’s so obviously an old programme made by the BBC, it’s clunky and kind of echoy and gently middle class – I loved the fact that the couple having illicit dodgy nookie in a car still had their jumpers on.
The policeman in it, DCI Whatshisface, is in Hollyoaks now, and the girl who was in the first episode was in Coronation Street (Toyah, I think). I like playing the "spot the actor before they went onto bigger and better things" game, if Hollyoaks and Corrie count as bigger and better things.
And onto the YoungDom.

I’ve plumped for Light_the_sky76. Eleanor, French form on Helen, Helen means light la de dah and also there’s a line from a song called Sunny Came Home that I really like that goes "Light the sky and hold on tight."
The name Light_the_sky has already been taken (hence the 76), but by a community that was set up in September last year for a band called Light The Sky (anyone heard of that band? Ever?) that has never been posted in. So I don’t feel like I’m nicking anyone else’s idea or that I’ll be confused with anyone else. And besides, I can’t think of any other names!
So if Live Journal suddenly stops working or the whole of the World Wide Web explodes or something it’s because I’ve set of some kind of chain reaction by changing my username. Dom’s not the only one who can break the internet!
And it’s the weekend! Woooo!
And it’s payday! Hoooo!
