I got the job!

They called me and said they were "very impressed" by my interview. They called just afer 2 and I had just started to give up because I figured if they were going to offer me the job they would have called me in the morning and spent the rest of the day making the, "thanks, but no thanks" calls.

They need to write for references and stuff but because I'm a temp I don't really have to work any notice so can start in a week or so. The funny thing is, I can't remember what the wage is because I didn't keep the job spec - they'd taken so long to get back to me I thought I hadn't got an interview - I suppose that will all come through with the contract, but whatever it is it will be more than I'm getting now.

I'm going to celebrate by eating and watching the first part of the BBC's new adaption of Jane Eyre - mmmmmm, Mr Rochester...
