I downloaded Instant Credit the other day but it doesn't work *is sad*

I caught a bit of the OC the other day and Jim Robinson was in it! Jim Robinson from Neighbours!

I also saw Jin in an episode of Charmed. I think Charmed must be an American version on Casualty. Every British actor has at some point played a patient in Casualty, Orlando Bloom has, Kate Winslet, I think Jude Law might have too. And I think every American actor has at some point been either an Innocent or a demon in Charmed – or a vampire in Buffy. And wasn't Sawyer in Angel?

The office politics smackdown is growing. Sue was furious about Glenis covering over her comment in Gloria's birthday card, and Glenis for some reason hasn't grasped the concept that being rude to and pissing off one's line manager might not be a good idea. She's actually getting quite venomous and isn't being careful about who she complains to. It's all going to come to a head soon – and it's appraisal season, so it could get very interesting.

What is the matter with people? If you call someone and get his or her voicemail – leave a message!

Don't call me and complain that the person isn't there and you only got a recording. What do you expect me to do about it? If they're not there leave a message and they will get back to you - that's why God invented voicemail.

I watched the video of Dom on Union Jack this morning. He seemed sad. He was all hunched over and was hiding underneath his hat; it made me want to give him a big hug – even more that usual.

I heard one of the best misheard lyrics ever the other day. It's from The Sex Pistols song Pretty Vacant. Someone apparently used to think the chorus went –

I'll never be able to listen to it in the same way again *g*

I share your sadness about Instant Credit. On the other hand, I haven't found anywhere to download it at all. Pretty please, where is it? If I get it working, I'll post you a cd *bribe, bribe* :)

Mine does work, but I had to have a bit of an argument with my computer and download an AVI player and a DivX player before it would.

If you already have those programmes on your pc then it should be fine. (God bless google - type AVI Player, press search, download. Easy peasy)


A ficlet or such would be lovely.

I've always wanted to write something about Billy wanting to count the freckles on Dom's body (mostly because I would *g*) but I've never been able to do it well, or at all :)

So it doesn't have to be porny or anything (but I wouldn't object...)

It's a cute fic idea, I'll see what I can do. On the other hand, the file just won't play. I think there's a corruption though, since it plays the first five minutes and then says it cannot play the rest. And that's despite downloading an AVI player, already having divx, and running a program called Gspot which is meant to show me what codecs I need. *sigh* Hence I think a corruption has hit my copy. And the Usendit file has run out of bandwidth, so I can't try again. Aarghh.

That's really sweet! But don't worry too much, I managed to find two other links with copies to download, and I'm hoping one of those will work. (I had time to download them, but not to play them yet - typical really) But since there is two of them, *one* should work, shouldn't it? :)

Going on holiday tomorrow and going to see what writing I can get done - heh, maybe there will be freckles...

Office politics are always touchy. I'm terrible at it, and i admit it, i'm always getting in there first to cover my own back. I told my boss this, she told me that it was the only way to survive. Which is nice.
