skylarking: (blogging)

I watched Chicago yesterday and have had All That Jazz stuck in my head for the last 18 hours. I like that song, but it's starting to get a bit tiresome now.

Catherine Zeta-Jones looks amazing in that film but Renee Zellwiger (sp?) looks like an alien. Renee, when you start looking pre-pubescent it's time to stop losing weight! And she has no chin. Really. You watch and see: the woman has no chin.

Is it wrong to like Dancing on Ice this much? I love that show. I love John Barrowman: he fell on his arse but he got up again and kept skating. And Sean and his partner – their dance made me go all awwwww. I think Dame Tessa Whatsherface should go next week, I don't like her, she's got her head up her arse; and I don't think her partner likes her either.

I spent most of the weekend feeling nauseous and miserable, watching DVDs and wearing four layers – it was so fucking cold! South Pacific was completely brilliant, I've only seen it once before and must have fallen to sleep during it because it was much longer than I thought it was going to be and there were lots of parts I didn't remember. I loved the part when nurse Nelly was looking out to sea going "Live Emelle live, live, live!" Any film that has a bunch of gay looking sailors standing around singing "There ain't nothing like a dame" is okay with me.

I almost left the house wearing my slippers this morning. I'd sorted my bag out and put my coat, scarf and gloves on then caught a look at my reflection and thought, "Ahh".

Monday mornings aren't my best time.

[livejournal.com profile] tarteaucitron, you made a cameo in my dream the other night, you were peaking around a doorway. I can't remember what else was happening, but you were definitely there.

I don't have anything earth shattering to report really, no epiphanies or life changing moments; it's all been pretty dull really. I must try harder this week.

am I tarteauction? cool!

I'd like to say I had a dream about peeking round a door last night, but sadly my dream was about having to sit some degree-level maths exam. One of the most disturbing dreams ever. I'm still a little shaken.

I haven't seen any of Dancing on Ice. The precious memory of Strictly Come Dancing is still a bit fresh for me. It would feel like a betrayal. :(

Opps, sorry, I'll correct it

Degree level maths? That's a nightmare.

I only watched the final of Strictly Come Dancing, but I did watch Strictly Dance Fever early last year.

Done.

Where does that name come from anyway?

(God, it's probably a reference to something really cool that I don't know and I've just shown myself up. Heigh-ho.)

lemon tart! it's a lovely lovely pudding! No really, that's it. I always feel like there should be a better reason. It's just my favourite pudding.

Nothing cool at all. :\
