skylarking: (the robin showed me the way)

~ I officially have to teach my self how to crochet - Crocheted Captain Jack Sparrow

~ Weekends should be three days long. I'm not ready for the working week to start again tomorrow :(

~ I was talking to my aunt on the phone today and she asked about the "knitting group". She said she had visions of it being "full of middle aged ladies". I put her straight right away! Middle aged ladies – what does she take me for? Pffft.

Thing I have learnt
If you see a robin carrying nest building stuff in its beak then it's a female. Only the hens build the nests for their eggs. Also, male robins woo females by bringing them food – that sounds like a good arrangement to me!

~ Sheffield became the centre of the universe today as McFly turned on the Christmas lights in town. We had Louis Walsh turn on the light at Meadowhall shopping centre, nothing but the best for Sheffield. BTW, does anyone else think that Louis Walsh is an evil little troll?

~ Nano: I have his 35,000 words, 35687 to be exact. My brain is now gone smush.

I was wondering what the Hallam FM stage was doing in front of the City Hall at midday today. There were girls with signs waiting patiently at the front at 12.30 when we'd finished in Coles. They must have been frozen by the time the switching on started...

Louis Walsh creeps me out. There's something not quite right about him

They were there at 12:230?!?

I don't think my fangirlishness would ever extend to freezing my arse off all Sunday afternoon just to see someone push a button. I must be getting old or something...

Wise Words
