I need a nap. I'm going to have to spend the rest of the afternoon dozing off and burping. Charming. But it's only one day out of the whole year so I don't feel a bad about the fact that I am not going to get anything done this afternoon.
I had a multi-millions pound making business idea while I was walking home the other night. I went past a garage that he barbed wire around the top of its walls and I was thinking how ugly barbed and razor wire is and then I thought to myself: Pretty barbed wire! Eureka!
I think it would make the world a slightly nicer place. Pretty, twisty, shiny barbed wire wouldn’t make a building look like a prison camp or get carrier bags snagged in it on a windy day, and that can only be a good thing.
I’m not sure exactly how I will make barbed wire pretty, but I’ll iron that tiny detail out later.
Random and unimportant things that have annoyed me this week:
~ People leaving their printing on the printer – it gets in the way!
~ People eating a cup a soup with a soup – it’s a cup a soup, you drink it, hence the cup!
Talking about being annoyed, I was unclogging the photocopier yesterday and started to wonder how much time I have spent clearing misfeeds. I’m sure if you added up all the time I’ve spent dragging pieces of paper out of photocopying rollers it would come to months. How depressing is that?
I'm going to send some letters out now. Then I think I'll sit down for a while.
